I have the similar one, but the firmware version says as "act2025e_v54" 9.5.54.
But, I am having the problems where I am not able to access the local folders in the player. Also, does the remotes available for ipod nano work for this?
yes, have this one. how the heck do you get the volume to work??
I have a silver 2GB version of this. To get the volume to work (pulled my hair out trying to work this out) you need to, while something is playing *hold down* the centre button and then eventually the volume controls will pop up.
about the volume : I have bought another model, but on mine, volume pulls up (push down) when playing mp3, but if you watch amv video, you have to pause the video first, then push down (doesn't work while playing video).
read in previous message : volume pops up (not "pulls up")
