Default Re: mp4 look like ipod nano

Hi pieterkwok,

To answer your question:

1. "I can't display the lyric file". Just quickly check to make sure the .lrc (that's an "L" not an "i" btw) is named exactly the same as the mp3 file.
1a. You can try opening the .lrc file in Notepad, then go "File" --> "Save As" and in the "Encoding" section at the bottom, change it to "ANSI" instead. Then try it.
1b. I know once I couldn't get the .lrc file to play on one of my players and it turns out, it was because the bitrate on the Mp3 song itself needed to be 128K. No more, no less. You can try that too.

If those don't work, then upload the mp3 song along with the .lrc file zipped up into this site and I'll take a look at it.

2. "invalid parameter" error message is normally due to insufficient disk space on your player OR, the player has been 'hacked' to show more disk space then it actually has in memory. Try deleting some files out and see if you can upload the new files then. If that's the case, then it might be someone's ripped you off. I think that's why a few people who, after formatting their players, memory size is much smaller.

3. As far as I know, if it has FM radio, it should have it. What you can do is use the S1fwx - Firmware extractor to extract your firmware. Then repair it then use the s1 Firmware modifier to modify your firmware. Using Firmware Modifier, there is an option to enable "FM Radio", but generally this is automatically enabled anyway. Remember to always BACKUP your existing firmware before modifying it and uploading it back on your player.

Hope this helps you out.

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks,
Binh
