I tried several methods [such as installing a Win98 driver for XP] but still, I can't make the
Technically, it still works because the charger turns green when I charge it [although the screen is blank].
My player is actually a dubbed 'mp4 player'. In reality, it is an Mp3 player with an AMV player. It has 1.2 TFT LCD and it most probably came from China.

Maybe you can reproduce this problem. Here's how it goes:
-Connect the Player to a computer (WinXP) using a USB Cable
-Download the firmware from the 1.2 LCD March 15 Firmware [or earlier]
-Use MP3 Upgrade tool to upgrade to that firmware
-Remove the USB cable from the computer when the "remove hardware" disappears
-if you can't turn it on and the computer cannot detect your player, then that is my problem... It seems that it is running as an empty shell
