Default Re: Is there a way on how to fix my MPX player?

Sorry!

My case is actually a DEAD player! It was caused by upgrading the firmware from march 15 but I removed the player too prematurely [since I thought that upgrading is done because it was indicated on my window]. I have just realized it when I clicked the link on the site that you have given me.

But the solution that is in there was for the mp3 player. I doubt that the specs shown is also for the mp4 player.

PS: I know how to turn on [or to turn off] the player. The problem was caused by an incomplete firmware.

My Mp4 player looks like this:
________
| ______ |
| | | |
| | | |
| -------- |]
| (x) |]
[_______]

I have read the 48pin tsop1 from the 'dead recovery guide' page. I don't know which side is which because there was no label [or indication] from the chip itself on where is no.1 or on which side should be grounded.
Anyway, here's my diagram from my chip:
(==) 2 normal IO legs (=) 2 Short IO Legs
24 - (legs) per side, trimmed down to 12 = (double legs) and magnified for short viewing

which side should I consider #1, and which side should I ground, and with what?
