Hi g3rmansh3ph3rd,

Sorry about the misunderstanding. Yes, I would imagine u know how to turn on/off the player. The step I mentioned in my earlier post was what the manufacturer said to do and thought why holding it down LONGER, it might make a difference.

Is there any chance you can see through a digital camera photo of your player with chip and board on it? The diagram is quite hard to read.

I do know someone who has had a similar problem to yours and has fixed it, so I will try to get them to help you out as well.
