Yeh, it took me ages to customise my bootup and end sequence on my player as well. It's on this site.
If you have time, upload your custom boot screen and a custom background scene to the site. You'll get credit for it and it will make you world famous!

I've also customised the "AMV Player" background, the icons, the background and icons when the player is connected through USB... So there are a few more things to customise if you are keen to keep customising it

I don't have your firmware so I can't tell directly the other background scene and how to activate it.. I'm not entirely sure if you can. I know for all my players, I've seen heaps of other background images in the firmware file that I've never seen played on the player at all.
