maybe the mp4 is not fully charged in 6 hrs, mayb it takes 8. It is also possilbe that the lights have no purpose but to tell charger is on, it doesnt tell that battery is full.
Usually you can tell when battery is full by looking at the mp4 player's battery icon. when charging, it is constantly fluctuating but when fully charged, it doenst move.
