Default Re: Files getting corrupted

Hi Guest,

It sounds like either the memory on your player is faulty (or needs a format), or you've run out of storage space on your player.

Be warned, I've read a lot of posts out there that mentions after formatting a player, they have a DECREASE in memory storage. This was due to the fact that you can 'fool' the player nd computer in showing a higher storage level than what it actually is. Example, a lot of people only have 120MB after a format, even though originally, it showed up as "1 Gig" etc... So, just be cautious when formatting your player. You might be a nasty surprise afterwards. But if you do, you will know whether you've been cheated.

Format your player using the "MP3 Player Disk Tool" from the MP3 Utilities 3.68. You won't need to reload the firmware after the format. I would suggest a "LOW" format option. Just to be save, back up the files on your player to your computer.

Try that and hope that helps.
