1st. I am not a coder.
However, apparently the very experienced hackers have found a way to allow the firmware to accept storage up to hacked capacity. The problem occurs when you try to access the files that are over the true capacity.
It also appears that sometimes they work, but most times not. Then you run into the 'format shows true capacity' issue.
Maybe there's a hidden compression algorythm that allows ....*excuse please*..... '10 lbs. of shit in a 5lb. bag'.....
