It would seem that the term MP4 has become a generic term for any audio/video file and not just a a file extension for video using the mpeg-4 compression algorithum.

I would suggest calling it an MP4 Player has better marketing value than calling it an AMV Player.

If you find a video file type that does not convert with AMV Converter you may need additional codecs to do so, or you could try converting the file to a format that will work in the AMV Converter.
