Just out of curosity, have you tried converting ANOTHER .avi file instead? Maybe it has something to do with PocketDivxencoder after it converts the file? I would suggest try a .avi movie you've downloaded from the Internet, then try converting that to .AMV.

I also strongly recommend you use ver 3.68 of the Convert Tool to eliminate possible problems with that.

You can also increase the swap (paging) file.
1. In Windows 2000, right click on "My Computer" then "Properties".
2. Click on "Advanced" tab at the top.
3. Click on [Performance Options] button.
4. Under "Virtual Memory" click on the [Change] button.
5. Choose the drives you want the swap file to be in. Change the "initial size" and "maximum size" to be the SAME. The formula is RAM x 1.5 = MB for swap file.


But I would suggest you try some other .avi movies which are large and convert using the 3.68 tool instead and see what happens.....
