david, from your picture, it looks like you tried upgrading your version 3.5.35 player with a 3.2.16 firmware..which might have been the problem. (I have the same 3.5.35 flower firmware but in a different player by the way). Upgrade will only work if you have a firmware of the same version and correct format.

Here's one option:
Since your player's completely frozen try opening it and short-circuiting it.

Then recover with your backed up firmware.
