Can you say, is your player detected after connecting to pc, w/out shorting i/o pins. If it goes to ADFU mode, you need to check if this pins are not connected together. I had same problem then recovering my player, but after clean pins this work excelent
Then Short i/o pins remember to stop shorting after windows detect device
