Crazy4MP4, Unfortunatly s1fwx does not work on Win98, you could try atjupload which you can download
HERE . I do not know if it will work on Win98 or not but no harm in trying. Failing that you will have to find an XP system to do the backup.
Just a warning do not use the firmware in the Vista theme as it is 3.5.35 and not compatible with your players 3.2.16. You will have to transfer the images yourself using s1res which you will find in the Download>Tools section.
Also when you do manage to get a backup please upload it to the firmware section as there are a few people looking for a recent 3.2.16 to repair their dead players.
