cherva, You should not update your firmware unless you are having problems with your player or wish to theme it. I would suggest that you use s1fwx to backup your firmware to your PC as you may need it if you have problems with your player in the future.
There is a guide on how to do this in the Knowledge Base section. And the program s1fwx can be downloaded from the Download>Tools section.
If you get a chance to upload your firmware to the Members Upload section as I have not seen firmware for your player there.
