ericmar, It is impossible to tell if this player is the same as YEPO 757F as the manufacturers just buy in parts and assemble them so even if it looks the same it may have different internal components.
Upgrading your firmware is always a risky process the firmware only has to be slightly incompatible and your player could be left unusable.
Upgrading your firmware will not add new features or options.
Some of the setup files are in foreign languages which can cause some virus scanners to read then as infected files.
You could delete all .msi files except MSIen.msi which is the english install and then rescan the folder.
