I suggest not to convert .AMV back to any other format as .AMV conversion drops some frames and resizes it to a very small size. If you try to convert it back to an .AVI, you will probably use even more quality and the video probably wont' be watchable to be honest.
My suggestion is to try to download the original .AVI instead as majority of .AMV are actually converted from .AVI or other video formats.
To answer your question, I have not seen a .AMV -> to .AVI converter ...
