I have tried the above method but I am having a total different situation here. I get this and says that this device is unknown when i attach the player through the usb.

I try to install the driver AdfuUpdate found in C:\Windows and I get this

EDIT: I was just about to throw out the player. I've tried to connect the pins again and the light came on
. I've used one of the full firmwares here and it worked
. So, if you are in the same boat as I am, try the guide again
