Answer to question number 4. I have downloaded the utility and ran 2 scans on it (Panda Antivirus and AVG) and no signs of viruses.
Also to answer number 6. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but AMV Converter tools 3.68 does not have the capability to brighten the videos. My videos always come out nice and clear so you might have a defect in your player.
