Press the [on/off] switch to OFF position. Leave it off for a few mins, then charge your player using the USB cable into your computer instead. Then turn it on and see what happens.

There's been afew instances where the wall charger has been faulty. Just hope it hasn't damaged the board on your player that's all.

It's alarming if the player is really hot to touch that's for sure!
