If you have more information about your player, please let us know or send us a link. .

Some things for you to try out:

1. What if you try plugging your player in ANOTHER computer altogether? Does it detect your player?

2. If you can get hold of another USB cable, I would say try that. Or, try your USB cable on another USB device to eliminate the possiblity of a faulty USB cable.

3. From Device Manager from your computer, try UNINSTALLING anything that has "USB" next to it. Since you have Windows 2000, once you reboot, it should pick it up again.


Try those and let me know of the result.
