Tony_2004, All video must be converted to AMV to play on your player. The ATJ2085 chip on these players has only about 8mHz of processing power so it would never be able to play unconverted video formats.

You can improve the quality of your video using programs like PocketDivxEncoder or VirtualDub "Vegas215.com" has outlined a process for better conversion :arrow: HERE
