[Solved] Yup...definitely messed something up...
Hi all, i'll just get straight to the point.
I have an iPod clone, and I mean a REAL iPod clone, it actually says "iPod" on it, not "mp4" (dunno f it makes a difference), and it's the near exact size and dimensions of an iPod Nano. The screen is micrometer'd at 1.142" tall x 1.042" wide and I have verified 4GB worth of storage. What is this reffered to on this board, since everything seems to be called "iPod clone"?
Earlier today it played music with no problems, now, after some excessive deleting, it dosen't play music just says "initalizing" then restarts, doesn't play movies (says wrong format), no text files (says wrong format), no images, voice files, nothing. I can see that they're there, but it doesn't interact. turns on, full color screen and everything, I see the lotus and the koi, I can see all of the menus, just no successful interaction with files. Games still work.
I took all the deleted files out of my trash can (including the ones in chinese) and put them back on the player to no avail. I ended up here and read about firmware this and that and what not, I have no clue what's suppsed to be the right or wrong one. The current version is "ACT_V3.2.16".
I feel like I'm so close, yet so far. Is there anything I can do? Thank you.
Mark
