mdpais, The symptoms you are discribing (unable to play files, player restarts) can sometimes be an indication that your memory chip is much smaller than your player or windows shows. Some manufacturers will by a small chip and apply a hack that makes the chip read as a much larger chip. This way they can sell 128MB chip player as a 2GB player. The reason the files do not play is because they do not really exist. If you copy them back to your PC they will no longer play. If this is the case with your player there is no fix. Formatting the player will generally remove the hack and the true size will be revealed.
