I "almost" owe you a beer:

This is my 1,8" 1GB MP3
Click the image to open in full size.

Within 3 hours I owned it I was able to kill it (I was following the manual step by step to learn, antil the part: "Now itīs time to upgrade your player")

->F*** chineses, they have to tell in the manual that :"This proccess is absolutelly unecessary and will ruin your player"
------------------------------------------------

Anyway, after 15 hours, I managed to make it work again, perfectlly, BUT:
-> I damaged it during the "operation": This model has the battery attached to the "back" part and four wires between the board and the back. Of course, one of them is now "loose", and I donīt really now where it fits.

Does anyone have a clue? Or maybe a link to a mp4-hardware site?

Thank you veeeeery much, If I may say so, you should add that weīll usually need 2 files (one .fw and one .bin) to recover, both need to be from the same "number"model and are different for each player.
