Rather than using other people's modified firmware which are most likely incompatible, it's best to extract the firmware from YOUR player using the s1fwx tool to a dump.bin file, then use the s1res tool to change that dump.bin file to modify the images.
A step by step guide is available in our [Knowledge Base] section.
Try that as its the safest way as uploading an incompatible firmware will render your player unusable or 'dead' in most cases.
