Great that you've found the solution.
FAT32 can go well past 2GB. FAT has as limit of 2GB. Not all players can play FAT32 though.

So after you've format it as FAT, you are able to fully use the 2GB's of storage and upload songs and fill the player to the max with it?

Do you also get any errors when trying to play them on your player?
