If your player is in recovery state you need to flash it twice to fix it.
The first time you must use a FULL VERSION FIRMWARE you can download some from here:

The first one might not recover your player but after you will be able to use your original dump.
If you are having a problem with your original dump make sure you have repaired it using the repair.bat in the s1fwx folder.
