Hikari, There are players on the market that have fake chips that have been hacked so that they appear larger than they really are. Most people have problems with them, songs not playing or being corrupt, player rerstarts all the time and so they format their players hoping to fix the problem. This removes the hack and the true size of the memory is revealed in your case perhaps 128MB. I do not know of any fix for this and have not heard of anyone recovering lost space once this happens.
