no offense taken! ideas like this can only make the design better.
one of the reasons my screens are overcrowded, is because there are certain limitations with the firmware. you have to work with certain (ugly) colors, for example. the only way to make certain things disappear, is to set them to the same color as the background.
marc: i am wondering how you got around not showing certain elements. is this how you got around the displaying of the "1 of 30," the "128 KBPS" and the total track time? i have been fighting with these issues for weeks. if you have any tips around how to change the background color (like for where the track name is displayed), i would be thrilled.
right now, because of the above mentioned issues, i have trashed the idea of doing a "true" ipod style menu for all sub screens and am working on a totally new flavor for the myPod theme.
