Some things to try to narrow down the problem with your computer not detecting your player:

1. Plug the USB from your player into ANOTHER port on your computer. Try them all and see if that helps.

2. Try plugging your player into ANOTHER computer altogether. This should tell if whether it's a problem with your computer or USB ports.

3. If after trying those, still doesn't detect your player, then try ANOTHER USB CABLE altogether. See if you can find another USB cable. There's been a few instances now from other members that they had a faulty USB cable. So it's definately worth a try.


Try those and let us know of the result.
