Default Re: Merging Firmware

I did it and it works!!!!

Thanks to loverboy1981 for his tuto (Instructions on how to update your firmware to 3.5.37 ) found on S1mp3.org.

First, my player infos:

F11-0GD Look-Like (4 directions joystick with button on the left and the right, 2 build-in speakers)
MP-680-CLV11 ( 2005-11-08 ) board
Original firmware
SC85052E
2006/04/11
ACT_v3.5.35

Some recommendations before to do the job:

- Backup your player firmware !!!!!
- Load your backuped firmware in Waterlilly and make screenschot of each windows to have a copy of the configuration of your player.
- Do the same with Easy FW

1st attempt :

I follow the loverboy1981 instructions.
Flash my player with no problem, wait until the player reboot before unplug (blue screen), it can take 1 minute.
The player boot correctly with the 3.5.37 GUI, and the first thing i check is the the file browsing function and it was there!!!!
I check the other functions: MP3 OK, AMV OK, Radio OK, Photos OK (Gif,BMP, Jpeg) but no game, Ebook, PhoneBook.
I activate the hiding function using Waterlily, but after in notice somme problem with the keys mappings (MP3 Player and games).
A good first try but not perfect.

2nd attempt:

Because the original 3.5.37 firmware suplied by loverboy1981 is for a nano-clone and my player is a F11-0GD Look-Like the problemcome from the KY_HARD.DRV.
I find a 3.5.37 F11-0GD firmware (Link) and with the instructions of loverboy1981 i replace the KY_HARD.DRV. of my 1st 3.5.37 firmware mod with the new one.
After flashing i use Waterlily to remap the keys like in my original firmware (Screenshot)
No problem with MP3 player but with the games the problem was still here.
Close, Near close.

3st attempt:

This time i decide to replace the GAME.AP with the same procedure as in the 2nd attempt.
And NOW it's work FINE !!!!!!!
