I'm trying to resurrect a
Zling V photo
I followed all the guide, I have the original firmware downloaded from the site but when it's time to do the upgrade I can't do anything as the player automatically disconnects from windows.
I tried several times, with several programs ( mp3 player update tool 1.45, mp3 upgrade tool 4.00, product tool 2.8 ) but noone of them seem to work. :cry:
It always goes like this: plug the player, turn on, shortcut, the player is recognised, open the utility (everything's ok)...begin firmware recovering and here we are! Usual sound of unplugged hardware.
With the upgrade tool I receive also the message "Read or write device information failed! Please exit the program and check if device is connecting".
Pleeeeeease, I really need your know-how, this stuff is driving me crazy. :evil:
