nope, i tried the notepad thing but it still didn't work. id like to try the first one but i don't know where or how to ope a Regedit.

oh, and i followed the steps on reviving dead mp3's. i got to the part where i upgrade the Mp3 tool and what not. then that's it. i tried to format it (Removable Disk E
but it just asks me to format it. i did what it told me but it says "the disk is write protected.".. :cry:
