My player is of similiar specifications as yours, and once you have managed to get your player detected by your computer, you can try using my uploaded firmware at:

But note that my player is 1.5" screen.
If your player is still functioning alright, it would be adviseable not to change your firmware as it might kill your player. However, you can still change the display screens using the steps here:
