capa57, I am not sure if your screen is to bright or to dark. Try loading your firmware into Firmware Modifier

It has a slider for adjusting the contrast up or down. I have used it successfully to make a screen brighter. Do not try and adjust the Radio setting as it will remove some features from your firmware.
