Laurence, The folder will contain a copy of MP3 Player Utilities. You can download all the applications you need in the Download >Tools section.

These versions of MP3 Player Utilities are for players that use the AMV Video format which is the most common. You will find other versions for other formats like SMV or MTV in the Downloads>Tools section.
You should also download s1fwx to backup your firmware from your player, if you have any problems in the future it will be helpful to have a backup. You can download s1fwx
