sratra, You need to disable driver signing, right click on My Computer and select Properties, Hardware Tab, Driver Signing and make sure it is set to

If your player is showing 2 drives you need to go to the settings menu in the player and select On-line Mode and make sure it is set to Normal Only.
Your player is restarting because it has a hacked memory chip. These players do not come in 4GB and 8GB they will only support a maximum of 2GB memory.
You need to format the player to remove the hack that is causing it to read as a larger chip size and corrupt your files.
