peta , is your player detectable by the MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool? If yes, here are some ATJ2085W chipset firmwares that you can try:
1.5" Screen: v3.2.16 SC85024B and v3.5.37 SC85051F.
1.8" Screen: v3.5.35 ACTS16D_13.
