tadad, thanks for pointing that out. The 160x120 files converted with 3.57 also seem to play smoothly on my 128x128 1.5" player (so far) whereas 160x120 files created with 4.00 have audio problems.

Incidentally, I found that I can have all versions of the converter useable if I install the version normally, copy the folder from "Program Files" into another folder (ie "AMV converter versions"), uninstall using add/remove programs, then install the next version and repeat. I launch the version by clicking on the .exe file for whichever version I wish to use. All versions seem to work normally.
