A few months ago, I lost my iPod Nano and have come to terms with the fact that it isn't coming back. After having a portable music withdrawl, I decided to check eBay for a similar player and ended up stumbling across a player that was "Nano-like" and had no mention of any brand name at all. The specifications looked really good, especially for the low price.

Instead of bidding on something that I was fairly convinced was completely fake, I did a few Google searches and eventually ended up at this forum. Everyone here appears to be knowledgeable about these players, and so I hope that I can have some questions answered:

Where is a legitimate place to buy a player? I see a lot of them on eBay, but I see a lot of complaints about hacked players being purchased from there. Are there certain things that I can look for in an auction or questions to ask a seller to verify that the unit isn't hacked? I have read stories of people complaining about hacked MP3 players similar to this one--that they initially say that they have 2GB (gigabytes) of space and they end up having far less after a format of the device. Can you confirm that this is not an issue with this particular item?

Also, I've read about people who purchased similar items and received a device with 2Gb of space (gigabits not gigabytes--a difference in size by a scale of 8). Can you confirm that the device has 2GigaBYTES of space?

yes, it is 2 GBytes of space. If you are not satisfied with mp4 player, you can always return it for full refund within 2 weeks. Thanks

Have I asked the right questions, and does it appear that I have found a legitimate player?
