Hi friends. i have purchase a ipod at ebay: this

All fine, i recieve this in last day, when i recieve this have some battery, but only 30 minutes max of battery , then this go down, so i put charging and i see indicator charging the battery, i give some hours more that 3/4 , and then i pull down the cable and i try to use my ipod, but the battery after some minutes like 2 or 5 minutes do down
and i cannot use my ipod.
If its connected with computher or powe all runs good but wirh battery no
I dont like to send this back to seller because the shipment costs. can any help me with this big problem? i like to use my ipod.
