For future firmware updates, what you can use is
Firmware modifier (downloadable from
here).
Run Firmware Modifier against your .bin file and it let's you change the default language to ENGLISH. Save the file and any future firmware updates with this .bin file, it will automatically default the player's language to ENGLISH.
