gregoriocarbajal, The problem could be the usb cable or the battery may be faulty.

The player must be turned on for the battery to charge.

When you plug the player into the usb does it run normally?

If not then the cable is most likely the problem. If it does then the battery could be dead in which case you need to send the player back for replacement or replace the battery yourself.
