Default Re: playback problems

dogman , depending on which player you use.
If it is winamp, goto the affected files in your player and play them as normal via your computer. In the playlist, right click on the tracks that display the characters and select File Info.
You will see 2 boxes, ID3v1 and ID3v2, remove the characters in it. Or you can just untick the 2 boxes.
Click on Update and you're done.

If it is Windows media player, same thing, play the files, and in the playlist, right click on the file that is affected. And select Advanced Tag Editor. You'll see various tabs, the Artiste Info and Track Info tab are the ones to edit. Remove any characters from there, click Ok and you're done.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
