I never cared much for headphones, the ones that came with the players were usually used. That was possible "in the old days" of minidisk players and sony's walkmen, the headphones that came with the player had reasonable quality. Now even big brands tend to deliver crap phones bundled with their player products. I bought a Creative EP-630 some time ago, found the sound so flat, that I went back to the shop immediatly. The guy gave me a used same phone, and it sounded great! So I went back home, and let the player play all night with the new phones. Next day the sound was way better. in other words, new headphones need to settle for a couple of hours of play. Never new that. The creative were 25 euro.
