VirtualDub to pre-process your videos. There is a resize filter to resize it to a size suitable for your screen and a crop filter that you can use to cut out unwanted areas.
It is impossible to view a 4:3 video on 128x128 full screen stretch to the 4 edges. You will end up with videos which are stretched upwards/downwards.
It's either you have fully sized width and the top/bottom would have a small area of black.
Or, if you want to stretch it fully top/bottom, you will need to crop away the width.
This is to preserve the aspect ratio of the original clip.
