mark2, The ATJ2091 is the cpu, an ACTIONS chip so it is likely that your player does used a 9.0.XX series firmware. Possibly the 9.0.48 as the 9.0.43 is generally used on the ATJ2097 or the CTW500 chips. If so sadly recovery is not an option at the moment.
Any luck on the memory chip details?
I think your best bet is to verify the memory size and start a claim.
