I have almost exactly the same story as you

"Windows Explorer will NOT recognize it, but the computer automatically found the USB 2.0 (HS) ADFU Device, I never had to open it and do the tweezers thing." (I have also checked the guide).

Unfortunatelly the "Dead Player Recovery Guide" does not seem to help with this kind of player (I suppose you got the same as on the picture?):

Somebody in this forum, who knows how to get this player detected in Windows XP, if you have got the blue screen?
Would be great if I could get it to work properly again. :roll:
