Sorry, unfortunately I'm not a Linux guy.

However, think of your MP4 player as being the same as a USB memory key.

I'm sure if you search around the Linux forums about connecting USB memory keys and how to do it, you can apply the same technique with your MP3/MP4 player.

It saids you it should come up with a memory asking what you want to do with it. If this doesn't happen, then perhaps ask why in their FORUM here: http://www.kde-forum.org/
